Central Station Manager of the Year
Rick Raper was the very first Central Station manager in
the nation to be recognized as the Central Station Manager of the Year.
ADS was honored to recommend Rick when the inaugural awards
were announced. He has implemented a long list of improvements which help the ADS
central monitoring station run very effectively.
Rick's leadership abilities along with his commitment to
maintaining the 5-Diamondlevel of performance by getting all of the ADS monitoring
employees trained at Level II status. Raper is the first central station manager
in the nation to achieve the Level II education status for all of his employees.
"Working in a stressful environment with high expectations, along with the mental
commitment each of our dispatchers makes when helping keep people and possessions
safe, can make the work day seem long," Raper said. "If I can make coming to work
a bit easier because people are well trained, know how to respond in an emergency,
and make good decisions, then I'm doing the best for my staff."
